  1. We’ve seen indictments, investigations, resignations over past 2 yrs in DC – there’s a culture of corruption here that’s only gotten worse. We need to clean this town up so the American people have government they deserve. Have to make government more accountable & transparent.

  3. 2/ Especially now, when transgender service members are under attack, we have to stand up and speak out for everyone who wears the uniform – regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

  4. 1/ Today marks the 7th anniversary of the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” That antiquated policy prevented people in our military from serving openly.

  5. Repealing makes it harder for small businesses to compete online. Slower and extra fees are bad news for innovators relying on the internet to reach customers. I’m fighting in Congress to restore .

  6. 2/ I was on-the-ground days after the hurricane hit and I can tell you first-hand that relief efforts there were not – as says – an “unsung success.” Puerto Ricans are American citizens – they need our continued support as they rebuild.

  9. & his anti-environment buddies in Washington are trying to open up our waters & expand oil drilling across the country – including in NY. We can’t let that happen – our waterways are key parts of our ecosystems & drivers of our local economy. I’m fighting back in Congress.

  10. Shotspotter tech is an important tool that helps law enforcement detect gunshots & catch criminals - and it’s working in the HV. I was proud to work alongside the City of Newburgh & the DOJ to get this tech deployed to make our streets safer.

    On Saturday U.S. Representative Sean Patrick Maloney presented 89 year-old Irma Turner Estis with the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest honor a civilian can earn for her Civil Air Patrol Service during WWII....

  16. Had a great time this weekend presenting Newburgh’s Irma Turner Estis with a Congressional Gold Medal for her service during ! Irma was Civil Air Patrol Cadet – and a real hero.
