In February of 1939, Louella Parsons had a story of how Patricia Tauroc, the six year-old daughter of film director Norman Tauroc was to be kidnaped. Ms. Parsons advised that the father had called and given her this information. She held the story until she made sure there was not a ransom demand made by anyone. Louella Parsons was a writer for the motion picture industry in Los Angeles. Louella Parsons was in Washington, D.C. in January of 1949, and toured the FBI. Director Hoover was out of town during her visit. Louella Parson's husband, Dr. Harry W. Martin died June 24, 1951. Louella Parsons received a Golden Globe, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association award, in March of 1960. Ms. Parsons received several threatening letters over the years as she worked as a motion picture industry writer.
