Hoyer: Economic Crisis Continues to Impact Main Street

WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today:

“On today’s front page of USA Today, there are two stories illustrating the devastating impact that the current economic crisis is having on communities around the country.

“There is no doubt that the dismal state of the economy is being felt up and down every street in America, which is why Congress continues to work in a bipartisan manner to ensure that those being hit hardest in this economic downturn receive the help they need.”
