INAUGURATION INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in the Presidential Inauguration on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the United States Capitol Building.  Our office is working in conjunction with the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies to secure as many tickets as possible but we will not know how many tickets our office will be allocated until the end of November.  We will email the status of your request at that time.

Because of the historic nature of this Inauguration, we are receiving an unprecedented number of ticket requests; too many for us to accommodate.  To increase your chances of receiving tickets, we suggest also trying to obtain tickets through either of our Senators (Isakson: http://isakson.senate.gov/; Chambliss: http://chambliss.senate.gov/public/index.cfm).  If you are not a resident of Georgia’s Fifth District, we strongly recommend contacting your Members of Congress as soon as possible because constituents generally receive first priority.

To submit a request for Inauguration Tickets, PLEASE FILL OUT THE WEBFORM.

As of November 7, 2008, Inauguration Ticket requests will ONLY be processed through our online webform.  No ticket requests submitted via the website contact form, email or telephone will be acknowledged.

Do You, Your Organization or Group Want to Perform in Inauguration Day Events?

Requests to participate in Inauguration day events for marching bands, marching units, mounted units, and other performers are collected by the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee. The Presidential Inaugural Committee, formed after the November election, selects the participants from the collected requests.Further information and an application to participate may be found at the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee.
