A: As you might imagine, Congressman Baird receives a large volume of mail and email. He does his very best to personally respond to each letter he receives as quickly as possible, but his response times can vary. Please allow up to four to six weeks to hear back from him.

A: In order to better serve your needs, Congressman Baird has implemented a traveling district office in addition to his permanent district offices in Olympia and Vancouver. Every Friday congressional staffers will travel throughout the third district to help residents who are having trouble with federal agencies like the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration, or with federal services like Medicare.
