Wilson Urges Action on Highway Bill
September 03, 2004
August 27, 2004 The Honorable Don Young Chairman House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure 2165 Rayburn House Office Building Washington, D.C. 20515 Dear Mr. Chairman, As negotiations continue on the Conference report for the Transportation Reauthorization bill, I would like to express the importance this legislation means to my district and districts nationwide. The legislation that passed the House contained money for 3 critical projects in my district and provided authorization language for a commuter rail project that touches three Congressional districts. As you know, this bill needs to be completed this year for the important investment it provides nationwide. I thank you for your consideration of this letter. I look forward to voting in favor of this groundbreaking conference report before we go out of session in October. Sincerely, Heather Wilson Member of Congress
