Hello Kids!

I hope you enjoy this section of my website that is just for Illinois kids.  As a United States Senator, I work in Washington DC making laws.  There are two U.S. Senators from every state.  Senators are elected every six years by the people of the state.  I am one of two Senators from the state of Illinois. You can find out more about my job and how the Senate works by reading the Legislative section of Ben’s Guide to Government.  The other links are to other government kid’s websites and other fun websites.  Have fun!
