Chairman Henry A. Waxman and Ranking Minority Member Tom Davis released the following joint statement in response to an announcement by Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association that they have agreed on an enhanced drug policy.

 

“We are pleased that Major League Baseball has taken steps to strengthen its drug testing policy. We look forward to reviewing the details of the agreement announced today.”
