Oversight Committee to Markup the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act

Washington, DC – On Thursday, December 10, 2009, the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will hold a business meeting to markup S. 303, the “Federal Financial Management Improvement Act of 2009.”  The bill, introduced by Senators Voinovich, Carper and Lieberman, reauthorizes the grants application web portal, Grants.gov, which serves as the central point of information and access for applicants for federal grants.  The Committee will also consider several commemorative resolutions and postal naming bills.

The markup will take place at 10:00 a.m. in room 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.  A webcast of the markup will be available on the Committee’s homepage: http://oversight.house.gov.
