Oversight Committee to Hold Business Meeting

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will hold a business meeting to mark up several pieces of legislation.  The business meeting will take place at 2:00 p.m. in room 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.  Doors open to all credentialed members of the media at 1:00 p.m. and to the general public at 1:45 p.m.  A webcast of the hearing will be available on the Committee website: http://oversight.house.gov.

The bills under consideration include:

• H.R. 1722, the “Telework Improvements Act of 2009”;
• H.R. 4865, the “Federal Employees and Uniformed Services Retirement Equity Act of 2010”;
• H.R. 3913, the “Major General David F. Wherley, Jr. District of Columbia National Guard Retention and College Access Act”;
• S. 806, the “Federal Executive Board Authorization Act of 2009”; and
• S. 1510, the “United States Secret Service Uniformed Division Modernization Act of 2009”.

The Committee will also consider several commemorative resolutions and postal naming bills.
