Committee Business Meeting: Report for June 17, 2010
On Thursday, June 17, 2010 the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a business meeting to mark up several commemorative resolutions and postal naming bills.

The following bills were approved en bloc by voice vote:
- H.Res. 546, introduced by Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL). This measure recognizes the historical significance of Juneteenth Independence Day, and expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that history should be regarded as a means for understanding the past and more effectively facing the challenges of the future.
- H.Res. 1369, introduced by Rep. Barabara Lee (D-CA). This measure recognizes the significance of National Caribbean-American Heritage Month.
- H.R. 5341, introduced by Rep. John Dingell (D-MI). This measure designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 100 Orndorf Drive in Brighton, Michigan, as the “Joyce Rogers Post Office Building.”
- H.R. 5390, introduced by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH). This measure designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 13301 Smith Road in Cleveland, Ohio, as the “David John Donafee Post Office Building.”
- H.R. 5395, introduced by Rep. John Mica (R-FL). This measure designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 151 North Maitland Avenue in Maitland, Florida, as the “Paula Hawkins Post Office Building.”
- H.R. 5450, introduced by Rep. Diane Watson (D-CA). This measure designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 3894 Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, as the “Tom Bradley Post Office Building.”
- H.Con.Res 288, introduced by Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD). This measure supports National Men’s Health Week.
- H.Res. 1439, introduced by Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL). This measure congratulates the Chicago Blackhawks on winning the 2010 Stanley Cup Championship.
