Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Village of Coulterville has received a $246,000 loan through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to upgrade the existing lagoon wastewater treatment facility to provide better service to area users.
"Providing services such as a dependable water supply greatly improve the quality of life of people in Southern Illinois," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that these resources are available to our communities."
