FRANKLIN COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES RECEIVES USDA GRANT
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Franklin County Senior Services has received a $19,250 grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to replace the roof and the air conditioning system of a senior citizen center in West Frankfort.
"Improving community facilities provides important programs for our seniors while also enhancing our communities," said Costello. "This type of investment can have a major impact on people's lives."
