A New Recovery.gov
September 28th, 2009 by KarinaA new and improved Recovery.gov launched today to help taxpayers track projects, grants, contracts and loans under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The re-launch includes interactive maps and easy to use tools to help you find detailed information about stimulus projects in your neighborhood, county and state:
Chairman Earl Devaney, and the Inspectors General (IGs) on the Recovery Board, are also taking new anti-fraud measures — asking citizens to help prevent fraud, waste, and mismanagement of Recovery funds by becoming ‘Citizen IGs.’ If you find waste or fraud related to a Recovery project, you can call a toll-free hotline (1-877-FWA-DESK) or submit an online form.
