Giffords was part of a bipartisan majority in the House of Representatives that recently supported the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act. The legislation passed in a 263 to 171 vote on Oct. 3.
Reich, the 22nd United States Secretary of Labor, has been speaking about the legislation as a commentator on television and radio. Now a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, Reich oversaw the Department of Labor under President Bill Clinton, from 1993 to 1997. He is the author of numerous books, most recently "Supercapitalism: The Transformation of Business, Democracy and Everyday Life."
