On Monday, July 19, 2010, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a hearing entitled, "Is Brooklyn Being Counted? - Problems with the 2010 Census."  The hearing examined the unauthorized use of data to complete census surveys by two former census employees at the Brooklyn North East local census office.

The hearing took place in the courtroom of Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street, Brooklyn, NY.
