On Tuesday, December 15, at 10 a.m. in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building, the Subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs will conduct an oversight hearing to examine the effectiveness of sanctions against Iran, to explore additional diplomatic alternatives, and to discuss the consequences, both intended and unintended, that new sanctions could create.  This hearing will feature experts on sanctions implementation, Iran’s foreign and domestic politics and additional options for U.S. engagement with Iran.
