In 2009, foreign-born workers accounted for more than 1 in 7 people in the U.S. labor force, and that percentage is likely to grow as the baby-boom generation retires. This report focuses on the skills that the foreign-born bring to the market, their education, the types of jobs they hold, and their earnings.
