The House Natural Resources Committee, led by Chairman Nick J. Rahall (D-WV), will meet in open markup session to mark up the following bills:

  • H.R.2523 (Heinrich): To amend the Act titled "An Act to authorize the leasing of restricted Indian lands for public, religious, educational, recreational, residential, business, and other purposes requiring the grant of long-term leases", approved August 9, 1955, to provide for Indian tribes to enter into certain leases without prior express approval from the Secretary of the Interior. "HEARTH Act"

  • H.R.4347 (Boren): To amend the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act to provide further self-governance by Indian tribes, and for other purposes. "Department of the Interior Tribal Self-Governance Act of 2009"

  • H.R.5479 (Rahall): To amend the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 to provide for use of excess funds available under that Act to provide for certain benefits, and for other purposes. "CARE Act"

  • H.R.4888 (Doc Hastings): To revise the Forest Service Recreation Residence Program as it applies to units of the National Forest System derived from the public domain by implementing a simple, equitable, and predictable procedure for determining cabin user fees, and for other purposes. "Cabin Fee Act of 2010"

  • H.R.4416 (George Miller): To reauthorize the Great Ape Conservation Act, and for other purposes. "Great Ape Conservation Reauthorization Amendments Act of 2010"

  • H.R.3785 (David Scott): To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a study of the suitability and feasibility of expanding the boundary of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. "Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area Boundary Study Act of 2009"

  • H.R.4195 (Farr): To authorize the Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation to establish a commemorative work in the District of Columbia and its environs, and for other purposes.

  • H.R.4823 (Kirkpatrick): To establish the Sedona-Red Rock National Scenic Area in the Coconino National Forest, Arizona, and for other purposes. "Sedona-Red Rock National Scenic Area Act of 2010"

  • H.R.5110 (Kirkpatrick): To modify the boundary of the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, and for other purposes. "Casa Grande Ruins National Monument Boundary Modification Act of 2010"

  • H.R. 5131 (Larson): To establish Coltsville National Historical Park in the State of Connecticut, and for other purposes. "Coltsville National Historical Park Act"

  • H.R.5388 (Heinrich): To expand the boundaries of the Cibola National Forest in the State of New Mexico.

  • H.R.5494 (Norton): To direct the Director of the National Park Service and the Secretary of the Interior to transfer certain properties to the District of Columbia.

  • H.R.5152 (Gingrey): To adjust the boundary of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to include the Wallis House and Harriston Hill, and for other purposes. "Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park Boundary Adjustment Act of 2010"

  • H.R.5194 (McKeon): To designate Mt. Andrea Lawrence, and for other purposes. "Mt. Andrea Lawrence Designation Act of 2010"
