Revised ERRP Application and Instructions Published
In order to streamline the application process, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on November 2, 2010 published a revised application for the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program, along with corresponding revised instructions for completing the application.

The ERRP Secure Website LaunchERRP is pleased to announce the launch of the ERRP Secure Website. Plan Sponsors, whose application(s) have been approved, will use the secure website to view and change application information; submit their retiree list, costs, and claims; and request payment for a portion of the costs of health benefits for early retirees and early retirees' spouses, surviving spouses, and dependents.

1. Plan Sponsors Can Now Report Costs and Submit Requests for Reimbursement:
A training presentation on how to report costs and submit requests for reimbursement is now available.
2. Costs Eligible for ERRP Reimbursement:
Information regarding the types of health benefit items and services eligible for ERRP reimbursement is now available.
3. Early Retiree Lists Can Now Be Submitted:
A training presentation on how to submit Early Retiree Lists and the Early Retiree List File Layout are now available.
4. ERRP Center is Sending Early Retiree List Response Files:
Each time a Plan Sponsor submits an Early Retiree List, the Plan Sponsor will receive an Early Retiree List Response File, which communicates the periods of time for which each individual is ERRP-eligible along with reason codes that indicate, for example, whether a retiree is eligible for Medicare.
5. Who Can Submit a Reimbursement Request:
Information regarding who can submit requests for reimbursement is now available.
