Examining the Efficiency, Stability, and Integrity of the U.S. Capital Markets
The Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance, and Investment of the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs have scheduled a joint hearing, “Examining the Efficiency, Stability, and Integrity of the U.S. Capital Markets,” for Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., in Room 538 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
Witnesses for the upcoming hearing will include representatives from the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and trading experts. A final witness list will be available Monday, December 6th.
