Rep. Virginia Foxx (NC) has been stirring the pot lately, with her explosive House floor ventures and determined messages on fiscal responsibility. She made her first appearance today on Right Wing News, ready as usual, to tell it like it is:

Instead of taking a steady, measured approach to these outrageous AIG millionaire bonuses, Congress did the very thing that got us into this mess in the first place: rushing into questionable legislation in a panic. Anyone else remember the TARP? Or maybe the "dead of night" stimulus package that authorized the AIG bonuses?

On the same day the president called for lawmakers to show fiscal constraint, Congress passed a bill filled with almost 9,000 earmarks for projects as ridiculous as mitigating the smell of hog farms. I agree, this pork really stinks, and it has everything to do with liberals in Congress that believe the government can spend your money better than you can.
