Mark J. Czerwinski has been a staff writer at The Record since 1985, covering everything from high school sports to the NHL. Mark also writes The Record's weekly hunting and fishing column. Mark currently covers high school football, girl's basketball and high school baseball. Mark graduated from Pace University in White Plains, N.Y, in 1984 with a B.A. in Journalism and worked for three years at the Paterson News before joining The Record. He was ordained a permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church in June 2008 and is married with two children.

Edel, a graduate of William Paterson College, is a certified Passaic County Master Gardener and caretaker of the Hamilton House Museum Herb Garden in Clifton.
