Waxman and Boxer Release Report on Human Pesticide Experiments |
Rep. Waxman and Sen. Boxer release a detailed analysis of 22 human pesticide experiments that the Bush Administration is currently reviewing or plans to review in the future. The report finds that the experiments are deeply flawed and rife with ethical and scientific defects. Many of the experiments put human subjects at risk of harm without any promise of health or environmental benefit, failed to obtain the informed consent of subjects, dismissed adverse outcomes, and failed to conduct long-term medical monitoring. |
