Legislation Makes Clear Federal Employees Are Protected From Anti-Gay Discrimination PDF Print
Rep. Waxman, with nine other lead cosponsors, introduces legislation to reaffirm that federal employees are protected from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and to repudiate any assertion to the contrary.

The other lead cosponsors are Rep. Christopher Shays, Rep. Danny Davis, Rep. Mark Foley, Rep. Barney Frank, Rep. Jim Kolbe, Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, Rep. Eliot Engle, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, and Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton.
