On Wednesday, July 28, 2010, the Domestic Policy Subcommittee held a hearing entitled, "Are Superweeds and Outgrowth of USDA Biotech Policy?" The hearing evaluated USDA biotechnology regulatory policy, with particular respect to genetically engineered, herbicide-resistant crops and the environmental impact of the evolution of herbicide-resistant weeds.
The hearing took place at 2:00 p.m. in room 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
