Statement on Extension of Bush Tax Cuts
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Jim Moran, Northern Virginia Democrat, issued the following statement regarding today’s House vote to extend part of the Bush Administration’s tax cut program which is set to expire at the end of the year.
“Today, the House voted to permanently extend the Bush tax cuts on incomes under $250,000. At a cost of three trillion dollars, I could not in good conscience vote for the permanent extension of a tax structure so fiscally unsustainable.
