MIAMI, FL – Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.), will participate in the 38^th Annual 2012 North Miami Winternational Thanksgiving Day Parade, at 10:00am, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2012. The parade will be held in Downtown North Miami, starting at NE 5^th Avenue.  This is South Florida’s only Thanksgiving Day Parade and the theme this year celebrates and salutes the “American Spirit.”

“Thanksgiving Day is a time to reflect and give thanks for family, friends and our communities.  What better way to exemplify the “American Spirit”, than a parade to bring the community together. Also, let us open up our hearts and remember the less fortunate. I wish everyone a safe and joyous holiday,” says Congresswoman Wilson.
