Kline Joins House Republicans To Highlight Administration Report on Real Costs of ObamaCare
Shares constituents’ concerns with a government takeover of health care

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. John Kline (R-MN), the top Republican on the U.S. House Education and Labor Committee, delivered the following remarks on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives today to share the concerns he has received from constituents regarding the real-life consequences of ObamaCare:

NOTE:  The report by the Chief Actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which was requested by House and Senate Republicans in March, projected health care spending will increase by $311 billion over the next 10 years and 14 million Americans will lose their current employer-provided coverage as a result of the Democrats’ health care legislation. The study also estimated approximately half of all seniors who participate in Medicare Advantage - roughly 7 million seniors – will no longer be covered by the program.
