The people of Marin & Sonoma counties are the most important voices I listen to as I serve in Congress. Profanity, personal attacks, or other inappropriate off-topic comments will be removed.Federal law prohibits campaign-related posts.
On Wednesday, Rep. Woolsey will give her 444th (and last) Congressional speech in support of Smart Security. Tune in live on C-SPAN at 7:00am (PT)/10:00(ET).
My Politics Do It Now opinion:
1. CO2 tax. The solution to both “Cliff”s !
2. Syria (&Gaza): No-fly zones.
3. Scheduled tax changes: Republicans voted for the changes, no rush to fix: I can live with the temporary increase in my taxes.
4. Marihuana: legalize and tax as is alcohol. State options are traditional for alcohol.
5. Other: In the past 5 years we have lost (unemployed) over 10 million worker-years, that could make high-speed rail up to standard.
