Royce Staffer Named "Everyday Hero"

Washington, Mar 29 - From FullertonStories.com -- Patty Shay, the Director of Constituent Services for U.S. Representative Ed Royce, was named an ‘Everyday Hero’ by the Rotary Club of Fullerton. The award is given to those individuals doing great work for their community.

Patty has been working for a Member of Congress for the past 33 years. In her current role Patty helps constituents interact with the many agencies and offices of the federal government. The agencies she works with include, but aren’t limited to, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of State, and the Internal Revenue Service. Her favorite responsibility is working on U.S. Service Academy appointments. She’s helped hundreds of students receive military academy nominations.
