COSTELLO ANNOUNCES HHS GRANT FOR SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY CARBONDALE

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Carbondale has been awarded a $225,487 grant from the Office of Minority Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  The award is for Project Yes:  Empowering Youth. 

" Southern Illinois University does an outstanding job providing health services to underserved populations," Costello said.  "Federal funds help make these activities possible and I strongly support these efforts."
