EVANSVILLE RECEIVES USDA GRANT AND LOAN
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Village of Evansville has received a $50,000 grant and $175,000 loan through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to construct a new fire station.
"Our first responders put their lives on the line every day and they need adequate facilities and equipment to do their jobs," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that these resources are available to our communities."
