Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that two projects at Southern Illinois University Carbondale have received grants from the Illinois Humanities Council. The Council coordinates federal, state and private funds for cultural and social programs.
“These types of projects add a great deal to the learning environment of the community,” said Costello. “They also help promote tourism in Southern Illinois.”
