I recently held my first Telephone Town Hall to discuss our nations education policies.

The Telephone Town Hall allowed me to connect with thousands of constituents to talk about the state of education in California and across our nation. The enthusiasm of the callers was very impressive as we engaged in a discussion on a range of issues about our educational system. With the increased global competition facing our nation, education reform is one of the most critical challenges facing our nation.

I will bring the opinions and ideas of these participants back to Capitol Hill. Together we can improve our educational system and ensure a brighter tomorrow for our nation's youth.
