New information on the Salmonella risks from many household foods (not just peanuts) PDF Print E-mail

Many of you may be following the news that foods in your pantry may cause a risk of salmonella because of contaminated peanut products. The FDA has provided updated information and a database of product recalls.

I encourage you to learn more about the recalls, as the FDA has declared that the contaminated peanuts were "ingredient in hundreds of different products, such as cookies, crackers, cereal, candy and ice cream."
