Open enrollment season runs from October 15^th through December 7^th

Springfield, PA – U.S. Rep. Patrick Meehan (PA-07) today reminded 7^th district seniors that Medicare open enrollment season begins this week. Seniors now have the opportunity to review their Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D, the prescription drug benefit, coverage options and find the plan that works best for them.

“During the Medicare open enrollment season, I encourage seniors to review all of their options,” said Meehan. “Comparing coverage options will ensure that seniors are getting the best plan that fits their needs.”

Seniors can compare coverage options online by visiting www.medicare.gov or speak to a Medicare representative by calling 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). Pennsylvania seniors can also contact APPRISE, a free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians with Medicare. The toll-free APPRISE Helpline is 1-800-783-7067.
