Each year I invite high school aged students in the 25th Congressional District to participate in the annual Congressional Art Competition. Sponsored by the Congressional Institute, each congressional district across the nation hosts a district-wide art competition to encourage student artistic challenge. The winning piece of artwork from each district will hang in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol in May.
