Previously she was a policy advisor and acting Chief of Staff at Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the Department of Homeland Security. She also worked at the Department of Commerce on international security policy related to the export of sensitive goods and technology. Ms. Han has extensive experience in the private sector in international trade, working for over 15 years in trade policy and promotion with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. She has an M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University and a B.A. in Political Science and Oriental Studies from the University of Arizona. Ms. Han is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
