She follows OSCE and international legal issues, domestic compliance questions, the human rights situation of the Romani minority, and developments in Central Europe. She has staffed numerous OSCE meetings and has extensive experience drafting policy and legal analyses, as well as Commission publications. Ms. Schlager’s B.A. in History and Political Science is from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Warsaw and received an M.A. in Soviet Union Area Studies, Harvard University; a Diploma in International and Comparative Human Rights Law, International Institute on Human Rights (Strasbourg, France); and a J.D. with Honors from the George Washington University. She is a member of the Bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
