Port Washington group recognized for environmental efforts
 | April 27, 2012 Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington will receive the Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Quality Award today at the agency’s lower Manhattan office, according to a news release from Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-Roslyn Heights). Ackerman nominated the organization, which is dedicated to protecting the environment in the area, for the annual award, the release said. |
