On Monday, July 23, 2012, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 1369, under a suspension of the rules requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage. H.R. 1369 was introduced by Rep. Dan Boren (D-OK) on April 5, 2011, and referred to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

This legislation would designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 1021 Pennsylvania Avenue in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, as the "Warren Lindley Post Office.”

Mr. Warren Lindley and his wife bought and operated Lindley’s Grocery since 1979. He was a part of Misty Valley/Blue Valley Water Company, and had interest in many other business ventures in Hartshorne and the surrounding area. According to the McAlister News-Capital, Rep. Dan Boren served as a pallbearer for Mr. Warren Lindley.

According to CBO, any costs related to new post office designations, which include the cost of changing the name on the building, signs, and maps, are not significant.
