On Wednesday, December 5, 2012, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 6602, a bill to make revisions in title 36, United States Code, as necessary to keep the title current and make technical corrections and improvements, under a suspension of the rules requiring a two-thirds majority vote for passage. The bill was introduced by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) on November 16, 2012, and referred to the Committee on Judiciary.

The bill would make a number of technical corrections to Title 36, mostly fixing erroneous cross references, tables of contents, headings, etc.  Title 36 of the U.S. Code pertains to patriotic and national observances, ceremonies and organizations.
