U.S. Marines Conduct Combat Logistics Patrol in Helmand Province
U.S. Marines unload supplies in preparation for a 32-hour combat logistics patrol on Camp Leatherneck in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Oct. 24, 2012. The Marines are assigned to the Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Combat Logistics Regiment 15. The convoy delivered food, water, construction materials and surveillance equipment to Marines assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines spread across three forward operating bases in Helmand province.

Coast Guard Responds to Hurricane Sandy
Coast Guard recruits prepare to board buses to evacuate Training Center Cape May, N.J., Oct. 28, 2012, the Coast Guard's enlisted basic training center, in response to Hurricane Sandy.
