U.S., Afghan Soldiers Search for Weapons Caches
U.S. and Afghan soldiers take cover behind a berm after making contact with insurgents in Dondokay village in the Sayed Abad district in Afghanistan's Wardak province, Nov. 22, 2011. The soldiers are assigned to the 1st Armored Division's Company C, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team. The operation's objective is to reinforce relationships with Afghan residents and to deny insurgents freedom of movement in the area.

Mililtary Wife Turns Caregiver for Army Husband
Army Sgt. John Tomsich and his wife, Catrina, play with their son, Brayden, in a play area at the Warrior and Family Support Center in San Antonio, Nov. 10, 2011. Tomsich came to Brooke Army Medical Center for treatment for a spinal injury. Catrina Tomsich put her business on hold to join him and urged him to get tested for post-traumatic stress disorder. Doctors confirmed the diagnosis and she has remained with him on Fort Sam Houston as his caregiver.
