Mullen Visits Ramadi, Iraq

Last Regional Hospital Opens in Afghanistan

The $5 million facility in Kandahar is the last of four regional hospitals to be built for the ANA by the coalition. Operation Deep Freeze

An LC-130 Hercules is unloaded on the annual sea ice runway near McMurdo Station, Antarctica Nov. 27, 2007, during Operation Deep Freeze. Ski-equipped LC-130s, crews and support personnel from the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing are supporting the 13th Air Force-led Joint Task Force Support Forces Antarctica, Operation Deep Freeze. Training at Camp Atterbury

Brig. Gen. Blake E. Williams, deputy commander for First Army East, visits with mobilizing solders of the 76th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Indiana Army National Guard at Camp Atterbury, Ind. The Soldiers are being trained by First Army Operation Warrior Trainers of the 205th Infantry Brigade. More than 3,400 will take part in the state’s largest deployment efforts to Iraq.
