U.S. Paratroopers Train for Forward Operating Base Duty
U.S. Army paratroopers watch a video on how to test for various types of homemade explosives commonly manufactured in Afghanistan for roadside bombs during an in-brief for recently arrived personnel March 25, 2012, on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, March 26, 2012. The soldiers are assigned to 82nd Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team. The training includes a briefing on how to locate improvised explosive devices, and teaches them to alert explosive ordnance disposal experts who are trained to safely dispose of the devices.

Troops, Federal Agency Conduct Exercise Patriot Hook 2012
