Guardsmen Help Fight Souris River Flooding in North Dakota

Army soldiers and Air Force airmen set up trapbags to act as flood barriers to the rising Souris River in Minot, N.D., June 23, 2011. The soldiers and airmen are assigned to the North Dakota National Guard. The trapbag barrier is a secondary level of protection that will allow some roads to remain open once the water exceeds the first level of flood levees in the coming days.
