Per Gallup, Americans favor simplifying the tax code by lowering rates & closing loopholes: http://j.mp/SsmYJT #4jobs #fiscalcliff
@ladybigmac @SpeakerBoehner When you tax the rich, primarily in busines, they don't pay the increase. They raise prices and you pay. Econ101
@Face7Eater @SpeakerBoehner But then the consumer can decide if they want the product enuf to pay the increase. That's capitalism.
@ladybigmac wow, so you want to penalize those who are successful? I thought we were all supposed to be equal. Same rules for all.
@ladybigmac @SpeakerBoehner Increases stem from manufacturers. In turn, smaller shops will have no choice but to raise prices.
@azsailor88 If the "same rules" really did apply, we would all be rich, equal. Minorities have always been given the short stick.
@Face7Eater @SpeakerBoehner I owned a small business, a real SMALL business. I had to decide which increases to eat, pass on. Capitalism.
@ladybigmac @ChrisLangston4: raising rates 4 t/rich buys 6days of gov spending... Then what? Short sighted Slogans are not Solutions.
@ladybigmac @SpeakerBoehner And I OWN a small bus. now. Got $ increase letter from every supplier. Every month. I have to increase prices
@ladybigmac the same rules and laws are all there. The only differences are peoples starting point, circumstances and level of determination
@ladybigmac With all due respect ma'am, you do not know what you are talking about. What you are suggesting would cripple the economy.
@ladybigmac @SpeakerBoehner And just how do you define rich? Probably someone who just makes more money than you do.
@ChrisLangston4 I believe a balanced approach is the only way to solve the debt problem. Spending must be cut but not w/a hatchet.
@Face7Eater @SpeakerBoehner That happened when I had a business so it's nothing new. It's CODB. Cost of Doing Business.
@azsailor88 Yes, and it is sad that ppl that start further back, so to speak, aren't helped more but are stepped on and held back.
@momrghtofcenter @SpeakerBoehner Have you looked at "Obama's debt"? It is much less than GWB's share of the current debt.
@momrghtofcenter @SpeakerBoehner Spending is too high in many areas but we need to cut w/a scapel and not a hatchet. Balance is key.
