Knicks-Celtics Rivalry Returns to Boston Tonight
Instant Classic Could be in Store
The rivalry between the Boston Celtics (20-21) and New York Knicks (25-14) returns to the city of Boston at 8 p.m. tonight. The two teams last battled it out on January 7 in New York, with the C’s prevailing 102-96.
That contest was as heated as they come. Each team was whistled for 21 personal fouls and two technicaI fouls, and it was Paul Pierce who silenced MSG with a game-clinching jumper in the final minute. If that matchup was any indication of what’s on tap for tonight, we’re in store for another instant classic.

Rondo Delivers Gifts
We all know that Rajon Rondo loves to hand out assists, but he spent December 22 handing out gifts to youth members at the Blue Hill Boys and Girls Club.
Rondo went on a $15,000 shopping spree to purchase presents for three different age groups. He then drove to the Boys and Girls Club and handed out the presents one by one.
Military Appreciation
The Boston Celtics and the Army National Guard are honoring New England soldiers for their commitment to service at home and abroad. During select games in January, soldiers will be spotlighted, allowing the crowd to give their thanks for the soldiers’ service. The month will be highlighted by Seats For Soldiers Night on Jan. 14.
